As a home based server, this allows for the use of one CM15 over as many computers that are connected in the home. As an internet based server, you can control the home's functions from anywhere that has net access.
We here at This Automated House are in the early test running of this software, and it looks very promising with many new features possibly planned. We're especially excited at the prospects of RemoteWatch X10 running on many clients without the need of an X10 computer interface connected to each Home Automation computer.
Currently the software supports the CM15A and does not necessarily need Active Home Pro installed.
RemoteWatch X10 also supports the RCS TR40 (discontinued) HVAC controller, so the temperature of the home can be monitored/altered from any connected computer.
